littleworries:

Oh oh. I realised this drawing in my previous post was my 700th post on tumblr. So so we should play a nice game where if you do a reblog or some other kind of love for this draw I will give it to one of you. Because you are nice and I am trying to be nice also.

I love little worries work.  I’d reblog even if there was nothing tangible to gain.  Because the work itself is transcendent.

It’s gotten so that I’ve had to be my own model these days.  My other models ended up pregnant, or moving to Spain or slipping off to Washington State to make wine…or just protested too loudly.

One of the wild things spotted in McCurtain County this morning

“Reliquary I, Take a Chance on Me (Earth, Wind, Fire)”

Was selected for exhibition in the Plano Art Association’s “125 Show.”  Awesome!

Exhibiting March 21 through April 11.
Opening Reception March 28, 5:30 to 8:00 pm.
The Arts Gallery, Collin County College, 2800 Spring Creek Drive, Plano, TX

And this is still the “beginning” of my reliquary series.  Lots of concepts, nothing concrete, or even balloonly.  <sigh>

As the Demon Cat said, “Meow, Meow!  We’re off to a good start this year!”

My photomontage and mixed media ”The Fishmonger and the Demon Cat” was accepted in the ”Birds, Real or Imagined“ on-line competition at the PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont.
My work, along with some very formidable peers (I’m preening to say), can be viewed on the PhotoPlace site, vtphotoworkplace.com.
